This website was developed by the Design and Web Development Group, Delhi College of Engineering. The development process was initiated in the middle of February,2009. The website was launched on April 4, 2009.

The software used for the creation of this website are as follows

The local testing was carried out using the combination of Apache HTTP Server, PHP and MySQL. The GUI used for accessing the MySQL databses was PHP MyAdmin.

The website has been tested for compatibility with Microsoft Internet Explorer (Version 6+), Mozilla Firefox (Version 3.0.1+) and Apple Safari (Version 3.0.4+).

The website is best viewed on a monitor with the resolution of 1280x800.

The design was conceptualized and created in-house. The same holds for the code development process. The Java script codes were sourced from the portal www.dynamicdrive.com. A few PHP codes were sourced from www.sourceforge.net.

This website uses the Google Analytics service for tracking the visitors and their browsing patterns.

The developers of this website express their acknowledgement to all the preceeding web development teams of Delhi College of Engineering who created a vast database of content which has been further integrated in this portal.

The developers would also like to express their gratitude towards the faculty of the college who mentored them towards success. We are especially thankful to Prof. P.B. Sharma, Director, DCE and Prof. R.K. Sinha, Dean, IRD who guided us with unstinting generosity.
