The Delhi Legislative Assembly, on July 1, 2009, has passed the Bill (Bill No. 7 of 2009) to upgrade Delhi College of Engineering to Delhi Technological University.

As such, soon after the official upgradation of DCE into DTU, new seats are likely to be added as reported in the press.

The addition of these seats will be announced separately as soon as the DTU comes into operation. Separate announcements through the website of the institution and through the press will be made for these new seats.

A separate counselling schedule will be announced and the counselling for the admissions to the same will take place accordingly.
