New Delhi; March 24, 2011: A four member team from Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering, has won the ‘Best Team’ award at Envisage'11 - the annual technical fest of Institute of Informatics and Communication, South Campus, Delhi University, held recently in the Capital. DTU has won this prestigious award for second consecutive year.

 The DTU team comprised of final year students - Akhil Jindal and Nikhil Jindal of Computer Engineering Department and Rahul Manocha and Pushkar Arora from Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of the University. Besides, the award for Best Team, DTU students also won first prize in five important events like Algorithm Design, Overnight Website Designing, Telecommunication Quiz,Technical presentation and Movie Making,  and a second prize in Poster designing.

 Speaking about the event, Akhil Jindal said, ““It is a matter of privilege for us to retain the trophy for Best Team won by DTU last year. Participating in Envisage 2011 was both fun as well as learning experience for us. It provided us an opportunity to work on new technologies. Staying awake an entire night for developing a website was a real challenge.” Envisage was participated by large number of students from technical institutions across the country including Delhi University, IIIT Roorkee and GGSIP University.
